For those of you who blogged, congratulations! Blogging is an experience that allows to reflect upon our experience. When we think about past experiences, we can make judgements, assess the experience, or change something about a behavior so that future experiences are different. How many of you blogged and then mulled over what you wrote about? How many of you looked at other blogs?
One of the reasons why the blogging exercise happens during our lunch break is so that the memories of the past experience stay with us, but for a very short time. Most of the students who left the classroom last week haven't blogged, nor have they finished their first exam. We sometimes leave an experience and only face it again when we HAVE TO. That is a big problem in education. Learning does not happen in the classroom, it actually happens outside of it. What takes place in the classroom is what we'll be talking about tomorrow! Want to guess what that is? Anyone who leaves a comment with the one word word that describes what I'm talking about will receieve bonus points on the first practice set! Good Luck. I agree that we need write down our feeling as soon as possible, but I don't know how to post my blog.
ReplyDeleteProfessor Trapani, what you said about blogging right way is the best way of doing it because we have our emotions fresh. This is the way of telling and expressing our feeling and what we want to say/ or write.
