This is the second day of the speech class. Today we are talking about "listening." Listening has five steps, like attention, interpretion, evaluation, responding and message. I remember this interesting example that the professor pointed out is "when you are sitting in front of your friend, the friend is talking with you, but you are listen someone who is sitting behind you." That is very funny, then it happens to me a lot. Sometimes my friend is talking to me, but it is boring. So I will keep looking at him, but I am actually listening someone talking.
And today I did the self-disclosure. I was very nervous at that time. I thought I did not do it very well. Anyway, it is a practice. I got some experience. I hope I will do it better next time.
