Self-disclosure presentation

I was very nervous at first to give my presentation and I kept rehearsing in my mind what I was going to say. I wasn't too sure whether to talk about something personal or just provide the basic information about myself, but as I started to talk on a more personal level I felt that it was easier to express myself. I wasn't able to go into deep details about my full background since it was only 3 minutes but I was able to give enough information so that my classmates could see where I stand. I realized the more personal the topics were, the easier it was for us to express ourselves. Overall, my classmates did a great job and the best part was that no one got cold feet. I expected at least one or two people to go up and have absolutely nothing to say. Since it didn't happen I believe it shows a good part in our behalf because we are providing a comfortable environment for one another.

  1. I agree with you, I think that everyone did an excellent job in their self disclosure. I was also expecting someone that wouldn't have anything to say because FEAR or because of something else. I think that it's our class environment that it's great because our Prof made us "break the ice" since the first day, I completely agree with you.
