So today was the second day of class. I still have the same oppinion about the class, I like it. So far we went over chapter three in the text book. Today we talked about how we hear things and listen to things. Those by the way are very different. Hearing is just like being there and knowing the other person is speaking, while listening is something deeper and better than that. When you listen you fully comprehend what the other person is telling the imformation sinks into you. You are aware of your conversation and have better knowlege and understanding what is going on.
We also had our 2-3 minute speech of self disclosure. I am a very open person and not shy at all. When I go out I like to be open and I love meeting and interacting with new people, however standign up in fron of the class was nerve racking for me. I didnt say half the things that I wanted, but overall I don't think that I did that bad. I talked about I guess the simple things, like coming to America....
Now it;s my lunch period so I'm off to eat.. :)
