What I expected from Fundamentals of Speech and Communication is nothing what I got on the first day of class. What I was really picturing was a mean teacher making us do a lot of presentations, in a yelling kind of manner. Well I was wrong... And thats not the first time I was wrong about something.
So my professor Mr. Trapani isn't mean at all. He's actually a pretty good guy. There was an ice breaker at the beginning of class... of course. In a course like that it is most appropriate. It helped me loosen up a little bit, and to look forward to the rest of the semester. We learned a lot about our fellow classmates, well what do you expect? To learn little when the class is SEVEN hrs long! Well six since we get an hr lunch.
Well anyway we learned of the history of communication which began 2,500 years ago in Sicily. And that our professors favorite quote is " Our World Is Created Through Words" I cant front it is a very interesting and true quote. I think however that communication was created way before that, except that no one has studies communication before that. When the first cave man and cave women were on earth they started communicating by banging each other on the head... haha. I am looking forward to the rest of the semester and am hoping to learn a lot more interesting things and facts of the Fundamentals Of Speech and Communication.

yea he is extra funny and approachable and that is one aspect that i need in a teacher so that i can actually learn something instead of just trying to get a A.
